What is PBT?(PBT meaning)
Polybutylene terephthalate, abbrevated PBT, belongs to the Polyester family. In the textile applications, it is mainly used because of its elasticity. This yarn facilitates the manufacturing of high comfort garments, carpets, and automotive fabrics. The fabric provides added comfort and seamless movement. This innovative yarn ensures a comfortable microclimate around the body. The yarn creates a finished product that is breathable and has great elasticity and superior color absorption. Due to their low water absorption rates (about 0.4% of H2O), PBT yarns are sweat resistant and their elasticity stays unaffected when exposed to moisture.

PBT fiber superior characteristics are as follows:
1.PBT yarn's breaking tenacity is 30.91~35.32cN/tex, breaking elongation is 30%-60%,melting point is 223C
2. PBT fiber has superior elasticity good durability, dimensional stability, and elasticity is not affected by humidity;
3. PBT fiber and its products feel soft, moisture absorption and wear resistance and fiber crimp are good, stretch and compression elasticity are excellent, the elastic recovery rate is better than polyester;
4. Good dyeing ability, can use ordinary disperse dyestuffs to dye under normal pressure in boiling water without carrier, color is bright and full, color fastness and chlorine resistance are excellent:
